Environmental Toxins
It shouldn’t take a nuclear catastrophe like that of Fukushima to raise our awareness and concern for the biological threat from exposure to radiation and environmental toxins. In our modernized world, we are constantly exposed to low-level radiation and pollutants in our air, water and the soil in which we grow our food.
While our bodies work round the clock to eliminate the residues of poor nutrition, prescription drugs, viruses and bacteria, as well as the toxic metabolites produced by normal metabolism, they very often can’t keep up. The result is a systemic build up of poisons, which destroy body tissue, damage organs, disrupt the nervous and endocrine systems, suppress immunity, and insidiously open the door to a plethora of illnesses.
When an individual’s body burden of toxic elements is found in amounts greater than physiological threshold, he or she could experience a myriad of symptoms – including generalized body pain, weakness of muscle and bones, hormone dysfunctions, the inability to make good decisions, and even delusion.
I strongly recommend an assessment from a CLIA certified lab to determine your body’s status. We have take-home test kits from Doctor’s Data International stocked and available for pick up during office hours. DDI’s Toxic Element panel will reveal whether or not you have a body burden of harmful substances that requires the assistance of a chelating agent for removal.
